Our 10U splashball team serves as a young athlete’s introduction to some of the concepts of water polo in a super fun (and super cute) environment. Kids in this age range learn many of the basics that they’ll need to grow into the 12U program. Our 10U team is a mix of boys and girls. Her varsity team went undefeated two years in a row, winning the open division Northern California state sectionals three times. And her club team placed 5th in Junior Olympics in the platinum division. She is a second year at Cal Poly Slo, and plays on the women’s club water polo team. She’s been coaching swimming and water polo since she was 13 and is looking forward to coaching at SLO water polo club with the 10u team this season!
Coach Delaney was born and raised in SLO and grew up in a water polo loving family. She played all four years as the goalie for SLO High’s Varsity Girls Water Polo team, helping lead the team to a league title. She’s enjoyed coaching with the program for the past four years and looks forward to continuing to do so while at Cal Poly studying psychology.
